Egil Östlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Tucker in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Golden Hills's Nolan Abernathy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Palmer Cassidy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Nolan Abernathy struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Palmer Cassidy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Hills. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ward Doran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Hills's supporters rose to their feet, but Ward Doran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Palmer Cassidy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nolan Abernathy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Palmer Cassidy having to make a save. Nolan Abernathy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 27 minutes, Nolan Abernathy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Hills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nolan Abernathy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Palmer Cassidy was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Ward Doran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ward Doran really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asher Washington during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ValldHebron getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Asher Washington hit a great ball. Nolan Abernathy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Palmer Cassidy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Ward Doran got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Parker Yu to make the kick off. Palmer Cassidy came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Hills's Ward Doran. But to his dismay, Ward Doran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Geoffrey Vasquez came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Golden Hills fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geoffrey Vasquez couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Nolan Abernathy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nolan Abernathy in the 61st minute of play forced ValldHebron's goalkeeper Palmer Cassidy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nolan Abernathy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eddy Tucker kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When Cory Abel fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 81 minutes of play ValldHebron's Asher Washington was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 82nd match minute, ValldHebron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asher Washington to maneuver through the defense. Nolan Abernathy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute Nolan Abernathy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Palmer Cassidy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nolan Abernathy might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Palmer Cassidy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nolan Abernathy ran back to his position shaking his head. ValldHebron's Palmer Cassidy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nolan Abernathy in the 87th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Ward Doran notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of ValldHebron's Palmer Cassidy. Palmer Cassidy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Palmer Cassidy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nolan Abernathy in the 96th minute of the match.
