Brant Zuniga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Phil Echols tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Newark Athletic Club's Brant Zuniga got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 18th minute, Sidney Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Stark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregory Neal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Stark in the 28th minute of the match. When Terrence McAllister came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Barracks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terrence McAllister couldn't finish the play. Gregory Neal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Taylor Bullock went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Terrence McAllister hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Victor Stark's late challenge caught a Newark Athletic Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Stark helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Victor Stark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brant Zuniga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Johnathon Uribe succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Barracks made a substitution. Ronny Bernstein replaced Johnathon Uribe. Gregory Neal came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Barracks's Harvey Rhoades. But to his dismay, Harvey Rhoades quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Lucien Moss kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Reyes Huff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Echols having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Barracks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Andrews to maneuver through the defense. Gregory Neal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Taylor Bullock showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 94 minute of play. The Barracks supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barracks would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
