The corner led Bilbao Atletic FC's Ricky Flores to fire away a dangerous shot which Monte Ledford despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Oswaldo Graham hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Ricky Flores sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and BEST FC's Monte Ledford didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas May in the 17th minute of play forced BEST FC's goalkeeper Monte Ledford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BEST FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Otis Sanderson scored to the left of an out of position Monte Ledford, making the score, 1-0. Martin Padron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Dent, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Bilbao Atletic FC's Lyle Christie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Monte Ledford made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Monte Ledford came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Bilbao Atletic FC's Ricky Flores. But to his dismay, Ricky Flores quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of BEST FC booed when Bilbao Atletic FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garrett Casey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Edgardo Bacon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Padron showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, BEST FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leland Agostino came free, but Monte Ledford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monte Ledford didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricky Flores went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Leland Agostino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bilbao Atletic FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leland Agostino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Monte Ledford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricky Flores scored 6-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Monte Ledford, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the game, Bilbao Atletic FC's Leland Agostino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Monte Ledford was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to BEST FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Terry Spencer hit a great ball. Monte Ledford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Flores in the 96th minute of play.
