The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Al Mims came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Los Angeles Galaxy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Al Mims couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Los Angeles Galaxy getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Donny Read hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Larry Merrill put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wade Hightower. After a rather tough play, KASTAMONUSPOR's Kurt Lovett got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Zbyszek Brysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isko Nurminen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes KASTAMONUSPOR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Al Mims who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, KASTAMONUSPOR's Isko Nurminen got control of the ball when Al Mims tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute, Zbyszek Brysz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isko Nurminen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Al Mims in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, KASTAMONUSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sheldon Reece to maneuver through the defense. Isko Nurminen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Brysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszek Brysz got free with Isko Nurminen in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KASTAMONUSPOR's Isko Nurminen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Brysz in the 35th minute of play. The corner ended in Al Mims almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KASTAMONUSPOR's Isko Nurminen did a great save. In the 38th minute Zbyszek Brysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isko Nurminen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Angeles Galaxy were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after KASTAMONUSPOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Al Mims took the corner. KASTAMONUSPOR's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Donny Read 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Isko Nurminen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Brysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Isko Nurminen made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Al Mims sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 张枫辰 to make the kick off. Darnell Gunn helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, KASTAMONUSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darnell Gunn to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 75 minutes, Al Mims managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isko Nurminen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zbyszek Brysz went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Isko Nurminen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszek Brysz in the 84th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as 张枫辰 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wade Hightower. That made the score 4-2 in the 88 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbyszek Brysz in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isko Nurminen saved KASTAMONUSPOR from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Zbyszek Brysz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isko Nurminen. KASTAMONUSPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zbyszek Brysz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Los Angeles Galaxy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
