Spectators: 8602 (Terracing: 6453, Seating: 1978, VIP seats: 171) Meng Feng Wei made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 6th minute, Tomas Sherman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Western Springs FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Frankie Russell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laurence Sandoval having to make a save. Emmanuel Corley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Laurence Sandoval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Sherman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Laurence Sandoval. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. The supporters of Western Springs FC booed when Hazardous Hornets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Thomason didn't get a good kick on the ball. Western Springs FC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 21st minute of the game, when Emmanuel Corley after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Hazardous Hornets's goal. Emmanuel Corley was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hazardous Hornets's zone, Tomas Sherman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurence Sandoval came out of the goal and Tomas Sherman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Sherman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laurence Sandoval came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Sherman slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Lionel Egan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laurence Sandoval. Lionel Egan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Emmanuel Corley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Laurence Sandoval when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hazardous Hornets's Laurence Sandoval played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel Egan in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes, Jamar Herring mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hazardous Hornets and the Western Springs FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Western Springs FC's Kerry McDonald was substituted for Lionel Egan. After 35 played minutes Hazardous Hornets got a freekick which was hit by Jamar Herring. Western Springs FC's Emmanuel Corley couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hazardous Hornets. The audience was convinced that Tomas Sherman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurence Sandoval was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Hazardous Hornets's Laurence Sandoval played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerry McDonald in the 42nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Kerry McDonald took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Laurence Sandoval to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emmanuel Corley made a kick off. A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Colby Saucedo with Tomas Sherman as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Monroe Munoz hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Meng Feng Wei got free with Hal Mackey in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Hazardous Hornets getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jamar Herring hit a great ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Emmanuel Corley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Western Springs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmanuel Corley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clinton Morin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Hal Mackey made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Hazardous Hornets's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Corley came free, but Laurence Sandoval reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Meng Feng Wei got free with Hal Mackey in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Bryon Tanner came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Hazardous Hornets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryon Tanner couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Emmanuel Corley made a precise shot to the right of Laurence Sandoval. Hazardous Hornets's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After 85 played minutes Hazardous Hornets got a freekick which was hit by Clinton Morin. 90 minutes into the match, Tomas Sherman notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Hazardous Hornets's Laurence Sandoval. Laurence Sandoval was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the game, Western Springs FC's Emmanuel Corley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laurence Sandoval made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Western Springs FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
