In the 2nd minute, Marlon Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Houston Fire F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Frank came free, but Aquilino Rameriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan McClellan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Olivieri in the 10th minute of the match. Allan McClellan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deshawn Steiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan McClellan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deshawn Steiner in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deshawn Steiner in the 17th minute of play forced West Oahu Wave Riders's goalkeeper Allan McClellan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan McClellan made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Deshawn Steiner sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in West Oahu Wave Riders's zone, Deshawn Steiner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan McClellan came out of the goal and Deshawn Steiner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dexter Ogden scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Allan McClellan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, West Oahu Wave Riders's Juan Muniz got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Blake Rice came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Houston Fire F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blake Rice couldn't finish the play. Allan McClellan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deshawn Steiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Shawn Hood made a precise shot to the right of Aquilino Rameriz. Houston Fire F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, West Oahu Wave Riders's goalkeeper Allan McClellan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dexter Ogden. Shawn Hood's late challenge caught a Houston Fire F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shawn Hood helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Shawn Hood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allan McClellan was a little too slow when Louis Escobedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the match, West Oahu Wave Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Dexter Ogden came free, but Allan McClellan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan McClellan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deshawn Steiner in the 56th minute of play. Guilherme Olivieri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Louis Escobedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan McClellan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 75th minute Deshawn Steiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan McClellan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Louis Escobedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Oahu Wave Riders's Allan McClellan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, Deshawn Steiner made a precise shot to the right of Allan McClellan. West Oahu Wave Riders's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The supporters of Houston Fire F.C. booed when West Oahu Wave Riders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Dickinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th match minute, West Oahu Wave Riders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Waddell to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes West Oahu Wave Riders got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Frank. Allan McClellan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deshawn Steiner in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Houston Fire F.C. booed when West Oahu Wave Riders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thaddeus Simon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Houston Fire F.C. had won after a very even match.
