Seating: 1946, VIP seats: 169) Oscar Booth made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Tim Davila reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Quentin Garza. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 6th minute, Nicky Prescott ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quentin Garza was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, Croatia FC's Monte Holcomb got a free kick in the 9th minute. Quentin Garza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim Davila in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute, Rudolph Dickens made a precise shot to the right of Freddie Farris. Rebel Squids's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 25th minute Monte Holcomb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Farris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tim Davila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quentin Garza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Nicky Prescott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Quentin Garza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Tim Davila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rebel Squids fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Tim Davila took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Quentin Garza to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 40 minutes, Nicky Prescott managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rebel Squids's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicky Prescott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Nicky Prescott fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Freddie Farris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Booth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th match minute, Rebel Squids was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristopher Schumacher to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.
The wind increased when Tim Davila made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Nicky Prescott ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quentin Garza was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Tim Davila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Quentin Garza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddie Farris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Waddell in the 56th minute of the match. Nicky Prescott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quentin Garza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Prescott, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Croatia FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Monte Holcomb hit a great ball. Giuseppe Louis hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Tim Davila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Quentin Garza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute, Collin Landis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicky Prescott in the 81st minute of play forced Croatia FC's goalkeeper Quentin Garza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tim Davila came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Rebel Squids fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Davila couldn't finish the play. After having played for 89 minutes, Nicky Prescott managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rebel Squids's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicky Prescott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Tim Davila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quentin Garza. Croatia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tim Davila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Quentin Garza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Davila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Rebel Squids were the better team. Rebel Squids's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
