Jayson Slaughter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Wyatt got free with Jayson Slaughter in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jayson Slaughter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domenico Meier in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Gordos's goalkeeper Jayson Slaughter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Los Gordos's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Boyer came free, but Jayson Slaughter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Gordos's goalkeeper Jayson Slaughter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Los Gordos's Jayson Slaughter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devon Urbina in the 29th minute of play. Domenic Biggs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Dexter Post tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Louis Wyatt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futabu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Louis Wyatt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th match minute, Futabu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by DeMarcus Cain to maneuver through the defense. Domenico Meier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayson Slaughter having to interfere. Los Gordos's Jayson Slaughter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Boyer in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domenic Biggs to make the kick off. Louis Wyatt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Boyer in the 56th minute of play forced Los Gordos's goalkeeper Jayson Slaughter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommie Horne during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Los Gordos's Jayson Slaughter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Wyatt in the 62nd minute of play. Jayson Slaughter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Wyatt in the 68th minute of the match. Louis Wyatt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 minutes, Brandon Walton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Gordos and the Futabu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Devon Urbina's late challenge caught a Los Gordos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Devon Urbina helped the player get up and apologised. Devon Urbina hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Futabu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
