Dexter Post made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Dennon in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Holger Dennon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dexter Post was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 20 minutes into the game, Russ Mora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Nomads Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bert Justens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Bert Justens made a precise shot to the right of Dexter Post. Futabu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. After 65th play minutes Claudio Quiroga shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Dexter Post and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 68th play minute Russ Mora came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dexter Post. 0-12. In the 71st minute, Nomads Football Club's Claudio Quiroga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. The supporters of Nomads Football Club booed when Futabu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. DeMarcus Cain didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Söderkvist in the 89th minute of play forced Futabu's goalkeeper Dexter Post to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Holger Dennon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dexter Post, 0-16. 95 minutes into the match, Futabu's goalkeeper Dexter Post had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bert Justens. Nomads Football Club played a much better game than Futabu and deserved their victory. The Futabu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
