Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oscar Booth made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Monte Holcomb got free with Jayson Slaughter in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 3rd match minute, Los Gordos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommie Horne to maneuver through the defense. Domenic Biggs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Quentin Garza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Rudolph Dickens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 minutes, Brandon Walton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Gordos and the Croatia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Los Gordos getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Brandon Walton hit a great ball. Croatia FC's Monte Holcomb got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Croatia FC booed when Los Gordos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ward Layton didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Oscar Booth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domenic Biggs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Quentin Garza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jay Seals charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jay Seals the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Croatia FC a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rico Aguilera, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Los Gordos's Jayson Slaughter. 1-0. Edgar Waddell hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Quentin Garza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domenic Biggs's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute Monte Holcomb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jayson Slaughter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domenic Biggs was the one to do the kick off. Renato Howard kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Domenic Biggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quentin Garza having to interfere. Oscar Booth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jayson Slaughter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monte Holcomb took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jayson Slaughter. Jayson Slaughter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Croatia FC's Edgar Waddell got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenic Biggs in the 72nd minute of play forced Croatia FC's goalkeeper Quentin Garza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Booth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77th minute, Tommie Horne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes Croatia FC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Booth. Monte Holcomb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Booth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monte Holcomb blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jayson Slaughter having to make a save. When Oscar Booth came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Croatia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Booth couldn't finish the play. Croatia FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
