Seating: 1900, VIP seats: 160) Tomas Fugate started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Vincenzo Serrano managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Cape May's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincenzo Serrano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilford Mott breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, North Cape May's Rolf Charles got a free kick in the 8th minute. A collision led to North Cape May getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lane Moses hit a great ball. Kirk Bower showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordan Graham in the 13th minute of the match. The throw-in from Rolf Charles in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by shenhua's Eliseo Hammond. If Tomas Fugate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kirk Bower showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Priest, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Tomas Fugate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilford Mott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vincenzo Serrano came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wilford Mott could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vincenzo Serrano got free with Wilford Mott in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kirk Bower showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mason Brandon in the 28th minute of the match. Vincenzo Serrano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilford Mott having to interfere. Freddie Priest sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rashad Starks to strike the kick off in the second half. When Vincenzo Serrano came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the North Cape May fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincenzo Serrano couldn't finish the play. If Rashad Starks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Fugate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
