Spectators: 6060 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1050, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vincenzo Serrano started the match with the kick off. After 7 played minutes North Cape May got a freekick which was hit by Graham Metz. When Mario Alvarado came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Wayne Hills Patriots fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Alvarado couldn't finish the play. The supporters of North Cape May booed when Wayne Hills Patriots was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Kaplan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Graham Metz kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes North Cape May got a freekick which was hit by Graham Metz. Graham Metz hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Mario Alvarado came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Wayne Hills Patriots fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Alvarado couldn't finish the play. Hans Spencer came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by North Cape May's Douglas Stovall. But to his dismay, Douglas Stovall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cruz Russo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Taylor McMahon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wayne Hills Patriots's supporters rose to their feet, but Taylor McMahon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kirk Bower breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Cape May's goalkeeper Kirk Bower, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Cruz Russo fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wayne Hills Patriots's protests and gave Cruz Russo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Wayne Hills Patriots getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cruz Russo hit a great ball. C.J. Nichols, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hans Spencer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincenzo Serrano, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Mario Alvarado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Kirk Bower when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Stovall in the 46th minute of play forced Wayne Hills Patriots's goalkeeper Hans Spencer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Wayne Hills Patriots's Cruz Russo got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Alvarado to strike the kick off in the second half. Taylor McMahon charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taylor McMahon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, Wayne Hills Patriots was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taylor McMahon to maneuver through the defense. Hans Spencer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincenzo Serrano in the 54th minute of play. After 62 minutes, Mario Alvarado made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. North Cape May's Kirk Bower tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute of the match Sol Goldsmith sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kirk Bower skillfully saved the ball. In the 66th minute, Mario Alvarado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kirk Bower didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Alvarado went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 77th minute, Mario Alvarado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute Vincenzo Serrano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Spencer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Mario Alvarado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Graham Metz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Graham Metz hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Sol Goldsmith took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kirk Bower. North Cape May's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kirk Bower took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Alvarado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans Spencer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincenzo Serrano in the 97th minute of play. Wayne Hills Patriots walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
