Forest SC's Paul McConnell managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sheldon Arredondo in the 4 minute of the game. Forest SC's Alistair Estes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper McGee in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Desmond Bruner in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Collin Ali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Ciccaglione struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Collin Ali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forest SC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desmond Bruner in the 19th minute of play forced LEXINGTON F.C.'s goalkeeper Collin Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melvin Harris hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. LEXINGTON F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Desmond Bruner 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Marcos Ciccaglione was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Jasper McGee made the kick off in the second half. Jasper McGee could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Alistair Estes made a huge save. Collin Ali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Woodrow Fountain in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Marcos Ciccaglione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Collin Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Forest SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
