Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Josh Vega took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Westville got a freekick which was hit by Allan Harding. Merlin Jarrett came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal's Josh Vega. But to his dismay, Josh Vega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cesar Gil hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 8th match minute, Westville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Chapman to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grady Pettit during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tuan Holloway struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Merlin Jarrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal. If Josh Vega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Connors's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Merlin Jarrett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Stanford McKee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanford McKee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merlin Jarrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute Reynaldo Connors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Jarrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsenal were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Westville's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tuan Holloway took the corner. After taking down the ball on Arsenal's corner Josh Vega fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Merlin Jarrett quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Westville defense, Stanford McKee kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Merlin Jarrett. The Westville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Merlin Jarrett should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the game, Eduardo Stjohn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Westville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal the free kick. Tuan Holloway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Merlin Jarrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Westville players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arsenal were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Connor Gee stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Teobaldo Soldevila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Westville fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Josh Vegas short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Merlin Jarrett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Reynaldo Connors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tyrone McCauley kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Roland Dömötör made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Connor Gee in the 72nd minute of play. Josh Vega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Merlin Jarrett made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Eduardo Stjohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Connors in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Merlin Jarrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arsenal played a much better game than Westville and deserved their victory. The Westville players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
