Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vitinho Diniz in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Devin Purvis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Quintin McAlpin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Rollins came out of the goal and Quintin McAlpin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Devin Purvis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitinho Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Abraham Mora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bermuda Dunes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Mora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Rollins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute Tyrone Marrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devin Purvis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Fish's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernie Dixon in the 72nd minute of play forced Bermuda Dunes FC's goalkeeper Devin Purvis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
