Roland Dömötör stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Theron Street's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Scum Utd were awarded a corner. Sterling Otero went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Scum Utd's corner Sterling Otero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roland Dömötör quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josh Vega got free with Tom Kyle in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jacques Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jude Williams's late challenge caught a Arsenal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jude Williams helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Arsenal booed when Scum Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jude Williams didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Connors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Scum Utd's Theron Street nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roland Dömötör made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 44 minutes into the game, Casey Rowley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scum Utd the free kick. After 44 played minutes Arsenal got a freekick which was hit by Casey Rowley. Scum Utd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sterling Otero in the 48th minute. After the first half Scum Utd were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josh Vega was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Wilmer Martinez put in a rough tackle. 51 minutes into the game, one of Scum Utd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tom Kyle had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Tuan Holloway's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tom Kyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josh Vega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Kyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josh Vega in the 58th minute of play. Josh Vega took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tom Kyle. Tom Kyle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Tuan Holloway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Kyle having to interfere. Tom Kyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josh Vega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Marshall Branch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roland Dömötör was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Connors during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes Arsenal got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Connors. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Everett Burke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scum Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Everett Burke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Dömötör breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
