The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jasper McGee was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Banfield FI's Leon Ledochowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Collin Ali made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matthew Dotson in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Collin Ali saved LEXINGTON F.C. from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Matthew Dotson put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Collin Ali. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinton Rivers in the 81st minute of play forced LEXINGTON F.C.'s goalkeeper Collin Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Quinton Rivers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Collin Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Banfield FI players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
