Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-10 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Collin Ali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Len McAllister, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 83rd minute Staffan Kämpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Collin Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Staffan Kämpe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Collin Ali. Staffan Kämpe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-16. Collin Ali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Staffan Kämpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 90 minutes of play, Banfield FI's Quinton Rivers made it 0-17 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Collin Ali was left in no man's land by his defense there! LEXINGTON F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Quinton Rivers 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-18. The LEXINGTON F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Banfield FI were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
