The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Lincolnwood fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Lincolnwood's Evert Tillman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. But to his dismay, Evert Tillman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 29th minute Heriberto Rudd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zackary Zuniga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heriberto Rudd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zackary Zuniga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Zackary Zuniga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascual Cuadra's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wade Salas made a kick off. When %teams%'s Heriberto Rudd was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-8 just inside the left pole, 53 minutes into the game. Zackary Zuniga was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 55th minute, Foster Brewer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Lincolnwood's Heriberto Rudd ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zackary Zuniga. Zackary Zuniga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. After 78th play minutes Heriberto Rudd shot 0-13, a short shot which went by Zackary Zuniga and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 82nd minute, Evert Tillman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Lincolnwood left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Westville.
