Seating: 1949, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marshall Branch started the match with the kick off. Eldon Potts had several of the Westville's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 6 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Zackary Zuniga as he didn't even see the shot coming. Eldon Potts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zackary Zuniga came out and tried to block the shot, but Eldon Potts slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. Zackary Zuniga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marshall Branch, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Marshall Branch recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zackary Zuniga. Marshall Branch showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 21 minutes into the match, Scum Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Gil came free, but Ferdinand Crenshaw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Scum Utd got a freekick which was hit by Reyes Erickson. Eldon Potts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Westville's zone, Eldon Potts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zackary Zuniga came out of the goal and Eldon Potts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th match minute, Westville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Harding to maneuver through the defense. Eldon Potts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Zackary Zuniga made a huge save. If Marshall Branch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the match, Scum Utd's Eldon Potts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zackary Zuniga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Scum Utd's Loren Roy seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Loren Roy the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Scum Utd protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Loren Roy had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Westville. Brett Spencer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ferdinand Crenshaw. 3-1. In the 42nd minute Cesar Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Crenshaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Eldon Potts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zackary Zuniga was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Zackary Zuniga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eldon Potts in the 46th minute. Eldon Potts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zackary Zuniga having to interfere.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerold Welch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eldon Potts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Zackary Zuniga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reyes Erickson might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zackary Zuniga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Reyes Erickson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scum Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Reyes Erickson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zackary Zuniga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute Eldon Potts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zackary Zuniga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd of the match, Jerold Welch tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ferdinand Crenshaw got in the way and made a wonderful save. When Eldon Potts came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Scum Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eldon Potts couldn't finish the play. Reyes Erickson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
