Spectators: 9206 (Terracing: 6906, Seating: 2117, VIP seats: 183) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sammy Nixon kicked off to start the match. Sammy Nixon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Troy Hutchins came out and tried to block the shot, but Sammy Nixon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. In the 8th match minute, East Millcreek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy Goldberg to maneuver through the defense. Rudolph Whaley might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roy Holman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rudolph Whaley ran back to his position shaking his head. Roy Holman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolph Whaley in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Mountain West FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Calvin Cayla hit a great ball. Troy Hutchins made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Sammy Nixon sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timothy Goldberg during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Timothy Goldberg hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Van Walls from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Troy Hutchins's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Troy Hutchins stood somewhat misplaced when Sammy Nixon came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. If Angelo Dumas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mountain West FC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Mountain West FC's Sammy Nixon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 34 minutes into the match, East Millcreek FC's Marquis Otto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roy Holman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Troy Hutchins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Whitney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes of play, Mountain West FC's Virgilio Whitney made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Troy Hutchins was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Sammy Nixon came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Mountain West FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sammy Nixon couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Mountain West FC's Angelo Dumas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. Del Grant took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roy Holman. Mountain West FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Montrel Belber took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Troy Hutchins. Troy Hutchins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Troy Hutchins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Reyna in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Sammy Nixon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Troy Hutchins was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Sammy Nixon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mountain West FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sammy Nixon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Troy Hutchins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Mountain West FC's Roy Holman got control of the ball when Blake Aguilar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roy Holman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquis Otto in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, East Millcreek FC's Kenny McLean got a free kick in the 65th minute. East Millcreek FC's Vincenzo Cooper was substituted for Edgar Paul. Kenny McLean hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Stan Bowling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. East Millcreek FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mountain West FC the free kick. Stan Bowling kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Sammy Nixon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. East Millcreek FC's Brant McGowan was substituted for Marquis Otto. In the 72nd match minute, Mountain West FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvin Cayla to maneuver through the defense. Blake Aguilar scored 9-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roy Holman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sammy Nixon in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Troy Hutchins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Roy Holman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 82nd minute Kenny McLean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Holman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute Sammy Nixon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Troy Hutchins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brant McGowan struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Roy Holman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for East Millcreek FC. Mountain West FC's Leif Donaldson was substituted for Angelo Dumas. Mountain West FC's Darrell Humphrey was substituted for Chris Reyna. Leif Donaldson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, East Millcreek FC's Roy Holman threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brant McGowan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mountain West FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while East Millcreek FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
