With a little luck, Recolta Alamor's Nacho Gonzalez got control of the ball when Stacey Banning tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Nacho Gonzalez managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when River tu grato nombre's Stacey Banning fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. River tu grato nombre's Flint Moreland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Dean in the 9th minute of play. Stacey Banning's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nacho Gonzalez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of River tu grato nombre booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Newby didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on River tu grato nombre's corner John Presley fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nacho Gonzalez quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, River tu grato nombre's Cameron Bartley got a free kick in the 20th minute. Nacho Gonzalez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stacey Banning's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Stacey Banning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Gonzalez having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Recolta Alamor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Newby to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Dean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nacho Gonzalez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stacey Banning went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Nacho Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Presley in the 55th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Graig Bacon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Graig Bacon got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when River tu grato nombre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graig Bacon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flint Moreland came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Recolta Alamor's Emmanuel Pennington. But to his dismay, Emmanuel Pennington quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bon Scott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bon Scott in the 91st minute of play. River tu grato nombre's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
