After having played for 4 minutes, Eli Fournier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Misinformed Buffalo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eli Fournier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Evangel FC's Johnathon Vargas got a free kick in the 6th minute. Craig Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Chulapa in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Misinformed Buffalo's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Chulapa came free, but Craig Velazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Dadá Lara fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zackary Sampson, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serginho Chulapa in the 18th minute of play forced Misinformed Buffalo's goalkeeper Craig Velazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serginho Chulapa might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Craig Velazquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serginho Chulapa ran back to his position shaking his head. Craig Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Chulapa in the 19th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Misinformed Buffalo got a freekick which was hit by Tyson Mims. 22 minutes into the match, Misinformed Buffalo's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Chulapa came free, but Craig Velazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Evangel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Di Stéfano came free, but Zackary Sampson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Misinformed Buffalo were awarded a corner. Gabriel McGrath went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Mel Holman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zackary Sampson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Craig Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Chulapa in the 26th minute of the match. Misinformed Buffalo's Craig Velazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho Chulapa in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Neil Whittaker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Evangel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Misinformed Buffalo the free kick. The supporters of Misinformed Buffalo booed when Evangel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neil Whittaker didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Misinformed Buffalo's goal looked a bit too open when Royce Kay came free, but Craig Velazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Craig Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Royce Kay in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Di Stéfano made a kick off. Zackary Sampson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Di Stéfano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serginho Chulapa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Craig Velazquez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serginho Chulapa went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the match, Evangel FC's Serginho Chulapa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Craig Velazquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Misinformed Buffalo getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Eli Fournier hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Serginho Chulapa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Evangel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serginho Chulapa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Craig Velazquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Lara in the 70th minute of play forced Evangel FC's goalkeeper Zackary Sampson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Misinformed Buffalo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Evangel FC:s goal. Serginho Chulapa walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 76 played minutes Evangel FC got a freekick which was hit by Terry Lusk. In the 78th minute, Serginho Chulapa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Craig Velazquez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Craig Velazquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serginho Chulapa in the 81st minute. Evangel FC's Bryon Betts was substituted for Serginho Chulapa. After 84 minutes Misinformed Buffalo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reed Finn who took care of the corner kick. Bryon Betts made a great header on Evangel FC's corner, it was just that Misinformed Buffalo's Craig Velazquez managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Bryon Betts kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Craig Velazquez. That made the score 1-5 in the 86 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terrence Perkins in the 93rd minute of play forced Misinformed Buffalo's goalkeeper Craig Velazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Terrence Perkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
