The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Saul Tharp hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Mohammad Norwood was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidro Amos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Isidro Amos in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Mila Doce's Noel Bullard got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Braulio Bordat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duncan Fielden having to make a save. Duncan Fielden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Bordat in the 14th minute of the match. If Neil Dougherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocco Cameron in the 20th minute of play forced Mila Doce's goalkeeper Duncan Fielden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Amos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Neil Dougherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Mila Doce's Noel Bullard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohammad Norwood narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Isidro Amos came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Mila Doce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Amos couldn't finish the play. Braulio Bordat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duncan Fielden having to make a save. Braulio Bordat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Fielden having to interfere. Duncan Fielden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Bordat in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Braulio Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Fresnos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Bordat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duncan Fielden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Noel Bullard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Noel Bullard kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Gavin Gabriel charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavin Gabriel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Mila Doce:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Fresnos AFC:s goal. Mila Doce:s Duncan Fielden showed great skill when he stopped Armando Odon:s penalty. In the 58th minute Noel Bullard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammad Norwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mila Doce's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Braulio Bordat scored to the left of an out of position Duncan Fielden, making the score, 1-1. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mila Doce's goalkeeper Duncan Fielden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Mila Doce got a freekick which was hit by Houston Toney. Mila Doce's Duncan Fielden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Mila Doce from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Los Fresnos AFC's Duncan Fielden threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rocco Cameron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Mila Doce's Isidro Amos in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Fresnos AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Steve Snyder hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mila Doce booed when Los Fresnos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocco Cameron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohammad Norwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neil Dougherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Duncan Fielden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Bordat in the 79th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Braulio Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Fresnos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Bordat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lionel Cronin took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mohammad Norwood. Mohammad Norwood dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 96th minute Braulio Bordat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duncan Fielden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Fresnos AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
