Chisholm Rookie:s Danial McDermott showed great skill when he stopped Lanny Gilmore:s penalty. 4 minutes into the game, Lanny Gilmore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Danial McDermott was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 8th minute of play forced Chisholm Rookie's goalkeeper Danial McDermott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Tory Weeks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danial McDermott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lanny Gilmore in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chisholm Rookie's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dominic Albright was slow to take the kick. During this time Santos FC's players had a chance to rest. Dominic Albright made a great header on Santos FC's corner, it was just that Chisholm Rookie's Danial McDermott managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 24th minute Adolfo Dorsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Smallwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Tyron Velasquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tyron Velasquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danial McDermott breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danial McDermott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lanny Gilmore in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Tyron Velasquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danial McDermott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Chisholm Rookie's goal looked a bit too open when Tyron Velasquez came free, but Danial McDermott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Albright. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyron Velasquez in the 44th minute of play forced Chisholm Rookie's goalkeeper Danial McDermott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Santos FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tyron Velasquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Danial McDermott made a huge save. The supporters of Santos FC booed when Chisholm Rookie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo-Ismael Astrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Smallwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Connor Christie in the 54th minute of the match. Arturo Turner took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danial McDermott. Danial McDermott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. If Adolfo Dorsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danial McDermott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tory Weeks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danial McDermott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tory Weeks in the 65th minute of the match. Chisholm Rookie's Danial McDermott proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Chisholm Rookie from getting a goal against them. Leonardo-Ismael Astrada hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Santos FC's Terence Nicholas was substituted for Tyron Velasquez. Danial McDermott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lanny Gilmore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chisholm Rookie's Danial McDermott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 76th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, Chisholm Rookie's Connor Christie made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Smallwood was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 85th minute of play forced Chisholm Rookie's goalkeeper Danial McDermott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos FC's Aaron Smallwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Landon Rowan in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Connor Christie in the 90th minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Aaron Smallwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Terence Nicholas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terence Nicholas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonardo-Ismael Astrada hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 94th minute of play forced Chisholm Rookie's goalkeeper Danial McDermott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Chisholm Rookie supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Santos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Santos FC.
