Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lendl Hanomansing started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Tibures del oriente's zone, Lendl Hanomansing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glenn Swaratsingh came out of the goal and Lendl Hanomansing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dwayne Sinanan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Walcott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dwayne Sinanan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manny Mohammed in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Guaico's Jeffrey John got a free kick in the 16th minute. The supporters of Tibures del oriente booed when Guaico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Bell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, Guaico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neil London to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Steve Walcott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dwayne Sinanan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dennis Bell fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaico's protests and gave Dennis Bell a yellow card for diving instead. Guaico's Dwayne Sinanan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Walcott in the 33rd minute of play. Lendl Hanomansing struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Glenn Swaratsingh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaico. Paolo Peru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glenn Swaratsingh having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Tibures del oriente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles London to maneuver through the defense. Dwayne Sinanan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Walcott in the 44th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Guaico's Dwayne Sinanan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Guaico from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Guaico's Dwayne Sinanan got control of the ball when Manny Mohammed tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deryck Devika Sharma during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Glenn Swaratsingh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lendl Hanomansing's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. A collision led to Guaico getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Kendall Duke hit a great ball. Manny Mohammed could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Dwayne Sinanan made a huge save. Mustapha Davidson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Dwayne Sinanan made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Guaico's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Walcott came free, but Dwayne Sinanan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tibures del oriente were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Guaico to leave the ground with a draw.
