Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lennox Mendes took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Bon Accord Strikers's goalkeeper Ansil Gomes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lendl Hanomansing. 10 minutes into the match, Guaico's goal looked a bit too open when Lennox Mendes came free, but Dwayne Sinanan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lendl Hanomansing struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ansil Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaico. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Nizar Adams sped through Guaico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dwayne Sinanan. Guaico's Lendl Hanomansing got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Guaico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keyeno Ali to maneuver through the defense. Dwayne Sinanan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennox Mendes in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Guaico's Paolo Peru got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Dwayne Sinanan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nizar Adams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Guaico's Kendall Duke got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 41 played minutes Bon Accord Strikers got a freekick which was hit by Boscoe Hudson-Phillips. Paolo Peru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ansil Gomes having to make a save. After the first half Bon Accord Strikers were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lendl Hanomansing made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bon Accord Strikers's zone, Joel Cummings stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ansil Gomes came out of the goal and Joel Cummings tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kendall Duke kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Guaico's Dwayne Sinanan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennox Mendes in the 62nd minute of play. Paolo Peru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ansil Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Guaico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Cummings to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Oliver Ince in the 76th minute really tested Dwayne Sinanan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dwayne Sinanan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennox Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Ansil Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lendl Hanomansing in the 80th minute of play. Neil London hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Bon Accord Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Peru came free, but Ansil Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bon Accord Strikers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
