Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bon Accord Strikers's Lennox Mendes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Elcock in the 3rd minute of play forced Bon Accord Strikers's goalkeeper Ansil Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nizar Adams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikela Jeffers having to interfere. Lennox Mendes might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikela Jeffers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lennox Mendes ran back to his position shaking his head. 17 minutes into the match, Longdenville's goal looked a bit too open when Nizar Adams came free, but Mikela Jeffers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ansil Gomes was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Steve Elcock capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Steve Elcock really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The supporters of Longdenville booed when Bon Accord Strikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lancelot Jerningham didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, one of Bon Accord Strikers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bon Accord Strikers. When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Longdenville's Samuel Shah got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ansil Gomes. Steve Elcock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steve Elcock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Harris in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ansil Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ansil Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Harris, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bon Accord Strikers's goalkeeper Ansil Gomes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Angus Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lennox Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Leonard Harris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ansil Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simbhoonath Eve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Longdenville's Leonard Harris got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonard Harris struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ansil Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Longdenville. Lennox Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Mikela Jeffers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Bon Accord Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Harris came free, but Ansil Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Ojah-Maharaj's late challenge caught a Longdenville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Ojah-Maharaj helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Bon Accord Strikers got a freekick which was hit by David Ojah-Maharaj. Steve Elcock struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ansil Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Longdenville. Nizar Adams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lennox Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bon Accord Strikers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Longdenville.
