Surujrattan Denoon started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Maraval Is Love getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Rupert Yetming hit a great ball. Surujrattan Denoon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodney Ayoung-Chee read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. With a little luck, Orange Valley Strikers's Kenwyne Dorman got control of the ball when Gaskynd Zamora tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaskynd Zamora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maraval Is Love's Denesh Peru got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Andrei Guiseppi-Elie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd match minute, Maraval Is Love was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Duprey to maneuver through the defense. Glenroy Edwards sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Denesh Peru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Orange Valley Strikers booed when Maraval Is Love was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamla Devika Sharma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maraval Is Love's Rodney Ayoung-Chee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenroy Edwards in the 31st minute of play. Rodney Ayoung-Chee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Surujrattan Denoon in the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, one of Maraval Is Love:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Orange Valley Strikers. Surujrattan Denoon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rodney Ayoung-Chee. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

53 minutes into the game, Denesh Peru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maraval Is Love's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orange Valley Strikers the free kick. After 53 played minutes Maraval Is Love got a freekick which was hit by Denesh Peru. After having played for 58 minutes, Neville Roberts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orange Valley Strikers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neville Roberts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Surujrattan Denoon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodney Ayoung-Chee having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick Duprey during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Maraval Is Love getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Patrick Duprey hit a great ball. Surujrattan Denoon had several of the Maraval Is Love's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Rodney Ayoung-Chee as he didn't even see the shot coming. Glenroy Edwards struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Rodney Ayoung-Chee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orange Valley Strikers. Surujrattan Denoons short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Rodney Ayoung-Chee to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 83rd minute, Orange Valley Strikers's Surujrattan Denoon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Kenwyne Dorman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaskynd Zamora in the 87th minute of play. Surujrattan Denoon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Neville Roberts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes Maraval Is Love got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Yetming. Orange Valley Strikers played a much better game than Maraval Is Love and deserved their victory. The Maraval Is Love players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
