Kwame Constantine charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kwame Constantine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Preysal Rangers's Kwame Constantine got a free kick in the 19th minute. Preysal Rangers's Roger Surendra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Preysal Rangers from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Preysal Rangers's zone, Richard Titus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Surendra came out of the goal and Richard Titus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Mortimer Hunte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eric Baksh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Jones's late challenge caught a Preysal Rangers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Jones helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Endeavour Stars got a freekick which was hit by David Jones. In the 32ndth minute of the game Edgar Mortimer Hunte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Endeavour Stars's Eric Baksh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Endeavour Stars defense, Edmundo Spencer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Baksh. The Endeavour Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Baksh should have stopped the shot. Edmundo Spencer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wendell Bottomley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Roger Surendra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wendell Bottomley couldn't finish the play. Edmundo Spencer might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Baksh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eric Baksh made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Edgar Mortimer Hunte sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, Edgar Mortimer Hunte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Baksh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Spencer in the 95th minute of the match. The Endeavour Stars supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Preysal Rangers's performance. The match ended with a win for Preysal Rangers.
