George Sharpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denesh Springer, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Nizam Laronde hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. club sando's Arthur Raymond Caton got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Wilmoth Roberts came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Одеська академія fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilmoth Roberts couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in club sando's zone, Wilmoth Roberts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Solomon Cipriani came out of the goal and Wilmoth Roberts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilmoth Roberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arthur Raymond Caton kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Danny Mathura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Solomon Cipriani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bert Ramjohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denesh Springer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Everyone was convinced a goal was close when club sando's Arthur Raymond Caton in the 61st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but George Sharpe was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Одеська академія through an amazing save. If Wilmoth Roberts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Wilmoth Roberts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Одеська академія's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilmoth Roberts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Solomon Cipriani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilmoth Roberts in the 71st minute of play forced club sando's goalkeeper Solomon Cipriani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilmoth Roberts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st match minute, Одеська академія was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ancil Bradley to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilmoth Roberts in the 86th minute of play forced club sando's goalkeeper Solomon Cipriani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, club sando's goal looked a bit too open when Wilmoth Roberts came free, but Solomon Cipriani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
