After a rather tough play, Brighton Stars's Dominic Jorsling got a free kick in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Nalini Maharaj dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Densill Yorke, 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Keyeno Mottley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keon Rougier. Seiseki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Keyeno Mottley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Densill Yorke made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Nalini Maharaj sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sugar Kernahan during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Seiseki:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brighton Stars:s goal. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Brighton Stars. Roger Dillon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Keon Rougier. 1-2. Keon Rougier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrice Dhansook in the 21st minute of play. Keon Rougier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Keyeno Mottley's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Nalini Maharaj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Brighton Stars's goalkeeper Densill Yorke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nalini Maharaj. 28 minutes into the match, Brighton Stars's goalkeeper Densill Yorke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nalini Maharaj. 30 minutes into the game, Tomás Cuminao recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Densill Yorke. In the 35thth minute of the game Danny Khan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brighton Stars's Densill Yorke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Densill Yorke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Yankaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seiseki's Danny Khan got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Cuminao in the 40th minute of play forced Brighton Stars's goalkeeper Densill Yorke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danny Khan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Densill Yorke having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Nalini Maharaj notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Brighton Stars's Densill Yorke. Densill Yorke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.
If Danny Khan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Densill Yorke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Khan in the 56th minute of play. When Danny Khan came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Seiseki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danny Khan couldn't finish the play. If Tomás Cuminao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nalini Maharaj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Densill Yorke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Densill Yorke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nalini Maharaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Seiseki getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gillian Bednob hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Seiseki's goalkeeper Keon Rougier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Keyeno Mottley. If Tomás Cuminao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Tomás Cuminao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seiseki's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Cuminao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Densill Yorke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Brighton Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Khan came free, but Densill Yorke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danny Khan took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Densill Yorke. Densill Yorke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Densill Yorke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Cuminao in the 87th minute of the match. Nalini Maharaj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Densill Yorke having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Nalini Maharaj left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seiseki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Nalini Maharaj took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Densill Yorke. Densill Yorke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2.
