In the 13th minute, Bhadase Anwar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Одеська академія's George Sharpe didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Solomon Anwar in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Sharpe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 17 minutes, Patrick Claud Hollis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Одеська академія and the Digo DareDevils players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Одеська академія booed when Digo DareDevils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornell Achong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerald Solomon made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Wilmoth Roberts sent off a good shot on target. Digo DareDevils's Gerald Solomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ancil Bradley in the 34th minute of play. George Sharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Solomon Anwar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ancil Bradley in the 41st minute of play forced Digo DareDevils's goalkeeper Gerald Solomon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

George Sharpe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertie Commissiong in the 65th minute. Ancil Bradley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilmoth Roberts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Solomon having to interfere. Gerald Solomon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ancil Bradley's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Solomon Anwar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glenroy Kenny struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. George Sharpe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Digo DareDevils. Одеська академія's George Sharpe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Одеська академія from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Digo DareDevils's zone, Wilmoth Roberts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerald Solomon came out of the goal and Wilmoth Roberts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Digo DareDevils eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
