Edward Webber hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Carapichaima's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Beltran came free, but Jonathan Tiger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Jonathan Tiger managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when FC Nacional's Güray Altunışık fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonathan Tiger came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Nacional's Lucas Beltran. But to his dismay, Lucas Beltran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Lucas Beltran sped through Carapichaima's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Tiger. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Fernando Beila managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Beila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Tiger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Tiger made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Lucas Beltran sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 28 in the game by Lucas Beltran from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Tiger managed to make a qualified save. Carapichaima's players were relieved. When Codruț Şunda came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the FC Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codruț Şunda couldn't finish the play. FC Nacional's Lucas Beltran was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 35th play minutes Lucas Beltran shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Tiger and just under the crossbar into goal. With his leg Jonathan Tiger managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when FC Nacional's Lucas Beltran fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Beltran made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Lucas Beltran put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Tiger. In the 61st minute, Sundar Beckles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Beltran in the 64th minute of play forced Carapichaima's goalkeeper Jonathan Tiger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kareem Leon's late challenge caught a FC Nacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kareem Leon helped the player get up and apologised. Kareem Leon kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. FC Nacional's Michael Ekenberg was substituted for Aurelio Florian. FC Nacional made a substitution. Scott Garcia replaced Bertie Wolfe. The supporters of Carapichaima booed when FC Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Errol Ogunbanke didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Carapichaima fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Tiger should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Tiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Beltran in the 78th minute of play. The FC Nacional fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when FC Nacional's Lucas Beltran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 16-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Beltran in the 89th minute of play forced Carapichaima's goalkeeper Jonathan Tiger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Nacional walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
