Hohenau's Pello Alcayde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garaona Orcondona in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Silbestre Coviella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hohenau's supporters rose to their feet, but Silbestre Coviella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Poncio Olivan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Hohenau booed when Pilar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Madrazo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Parcerices in the 30th minute of play forced Pilar's goalkeeper Poncio Olivan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Parcerices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Hohenau's goal looked a bit too open when Garaona Orcondona came free, but Pello Alcayde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pello Alcayde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garaona Orcondona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Garaona Orcondona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pello Alcayde was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Hohenau's Pello Alcayde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Hohenau from getting a goal against them.

Felix Parcerices kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match Patrido Arriola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pello Alcayde skillfully saved the ball. Garaona Orcondona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pello Alcayde having to interfere. Hohenau's Felix Parcerices got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Favila Almuzara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garaona Orcondona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pello Alcayde having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Leobardo Telleria put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Pilar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hohenau:s goal. When the match had been going on for 76 minutes, Hohenau's Fernanco Sedan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Poncio Olivan. Pello Alcayde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Favila Almuzara in the 81st minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Patrido Arriola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the game, Silbestre Coviella recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Poncio Olivan. Silbestre Coviella showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 97th minute, Favila Almuzara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pello Alcayde was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hohenau walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
