After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felipe Azua was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Cordarell Vardeci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ybapobo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordarell Vardeci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosario FC's Donostia Cobreros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarell Vardeci in the 82nd minute of play. Mario Ruiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurre Traspuesto went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rosario FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
