Timoteo Zuazo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batista Valderramal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Manu Ramires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuscal's supporters rose to their feet, but Manu Ramires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dodorol Malmonje breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timoteo Zuazo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Valdivielso, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Mbocayaty AFC booed when Tuscal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aimar Arana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mbocayaty AFC's zone, Orzaize Proaño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dodorol Malmonje came out of the goal and Orzaize Proaño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Orzaize Proaño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timoteo Zuazo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elorri Canaria in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Mbocayaty AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Estevam Jiron to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Mbocayaty AFC's goalkeeper Dodorol Malmonje had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orzaize Proaño. Tuscal were furious when Chap Señor was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Chap Señor kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Mbocayaty AFC's Edson Gabiña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timoteo Zuazo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mbocayaty AFC's Jeronimo Masferrer got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jeronimo Masferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iparragirre Agra to strike the kick off in the second half. Patricio Valdivielso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Timoteo Zuazo made a huge save. Mbocayaty AFC's Patricio Valdivielso suffered a concussion in the 54th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Orzaize Proaño kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Mbocayaty AFC's Jeronimo Masferrer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Timoteo Zuazo. Timoteo Zuazo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Cebo Valdez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dodorol Malmonje tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mbocayaty AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jeronimo Masferrer hit a great ball. Iparragirre Agra took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dodorol Malmonje. Dodorol Malmonje dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With an all-out effort, Mbocayaty AFC's Timoteo Zuazo threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jeronimo Masferrer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Manu Ramires struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Dodorol Malmonje didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuscal. After 88 played minutes Tuscal got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Meldasgoas. A collision led to Mbocayaty AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Batista Valderramal hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tuscal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mbocayaty AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
