Naike Alcazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Orio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, Cerro Porteño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Mendana to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Nicholas Orio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The cerro33 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 34th match minute, cerro33 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtun Olazaran to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the game, Cerro Porteño's Toli Ribeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicholas Orio made a kick off. Eliu Ranero's late challenge caught a cerro33's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliu Ranero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Cerro Porteño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliu Ranero to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cerro Porteño's zone, Yader Quesada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naike Alcazar came out of the goal and Yader Quesada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to cerro33 getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Nicholas Orio hit a great ball. Yader Quesada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Naike Alcazar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. When Nicholas Orio came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the cerro33 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicholas Orio couldn't finish the play. Nicholas Orio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Naike Alcazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A wasted opportunity for Cerro Porteño. 86 minutes into the match, Cerro Porteño's goalkeeper Naike Alcazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yader Quesada. 88 minutes into the match, cerro33's goal looked a bit too open when Toli Ribeira came free, but Martin Aubets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naike Alcazar made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Yader Quesada sent off a good shot on target. Toli Ribeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute Toli Ribeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Aubets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
