If Andréas Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rio Leizaur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gombal Abecia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Uldis Liestiņš fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avant FC's protests and gave Uldis Liestiņš a yellow card for diving instead. Uldis Liestiņš hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Avant FC's goal looked a bit too open when Onbera Lamadrid came free, but Paolo Senderos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Larra Urreche charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Larra Urreche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Larra Urreche kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Rio Leizaur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gombal Abecia having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Lock's zone, Rio Leizaur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gombal Abecia came out of the goal and Rio Leizaur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Avant FC's Paolo Senderos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andréas Gunnarsson in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Mercurio Afraga could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Gombal Abecia however easily saved by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Gombal Abecia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 40 minutes, Andréas Gunnarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blue Lock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andréas Gunnarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cortez Tamaron hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The supporters of Avant FC booed when Blue Lock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Gallinas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Mercurio Afraga made a precise shot to the right of Gombal Abecia. Blue Lock's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 54th match minute, Blue Lock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloi Errázuriz to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Avant FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andréas Gunnarsson came free, but Paolo Senderos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rio Leizaur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gombal Abecia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaueko Obispo during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Blue Lock's Gombal Abecia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rio Leizaur in the 62nd minute of play. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Elodio Dosal with Eloi Errázuriz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Gaueko Obispo got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 67 played minutes Blue Lock got a freekick which was hit by Gaueko Obispo. After some careless play in the Blue Lock defense, Rio Leizaur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gombal Abecia. The Blue Lock fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gombal Abecia should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the game, Rio Leizaur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gombal Abecia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zeca Fode fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gombal Abecia having to interfere. Blue Lock's Gombal Abecia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mercurio Afraga in the 84th minute of play. Rio Leizaur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeca Fode hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Paolo Senderos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larra Urreche, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Avant FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
