Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Rodrigo Ayala started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Daffa Martanegara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciano Govelo having to interfere. In the 5th minute Arturo Antonijoan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Garzona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes SPORT AGB got a freekick which was hit by Omar Zunzunegui. In the 9th minute of the match Chineze Cannavaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abelardo Garzona showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Abelardo Garzona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Malet, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 13 minutes SPORT AGB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chineze Cannavaro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FRANCISCO's Chineze Cannavaro to fire away a dangerous shot which Abelardo Garzona despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, SPORT AGB's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Esteves came free, but Abelardo Garzona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, SPORT AGB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Estebano Lodeña to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Arturo Antonijoan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FRANCISCO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. FRANCISCO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Daffa Martanegara scored to the left of an out of position Ciano Govelo, making the score, 1-2. Abelardo Garzona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Esteves in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, SPORT AGB's Daffa Martanegara made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciano Govelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute, Rodrigo Ayala made a precise shot to the right of Abelardo Garzona. SPORT AGB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 36th minute Yaroslav Korf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Garzona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarracino Arceo in the 37th minute of play forced FRANCISCO's goalkeeper Ciano Govelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Garzona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Malet in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FRANCISCO's Yaroslav Korf got a free kick in the 39th minute. Ciano Govelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daffa Martanegara in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half FRANCISCO were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Daffa Martanegara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Arturo Antonijoan took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Abelardo Garzona to make any attempt to save it. In the 60th minute, FRANCISCO's Luis Esteves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abelardo Garzona. Abelardo Garzona yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. When FRANCISCO's Arturo Antonijoan in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Abelardo Garzona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Ayala in the 77th minute. SPORT AGB's Abelardo Garzona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Esteves in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Daffa Martanegara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SPORT AGB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daffa Martanegara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Ayala got free with Abelardo Garzona in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abelardo Garzona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yaroslav Korf in the 89th minute. Abelardo Garzona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Antonijoan in the 90th minute of play.
