Felix Hill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ted Villena during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Yakusoku no Neverland booed when Caaguazu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harriet Ordoña didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goalkeeper Rich Barth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Villena. Felix Hill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolome Moracia, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. A collision led to Yakusoku no Neverland getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Pio Tul hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Yakusoku no Neverland's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolome Moracia came free, but Felix Hill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. At last the ball reached Rami Descalzo at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Yakusoku no Neverland. 0-1. 20 minutes into the game, Guillermo Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Felix Hill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 23 played minutes Caaguazu got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Labiada. Rich Barth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Caldeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes of play, Caaguazu's Guillermo Paiva made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Hill was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Karlo Fortes came free, but Rich Barth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ted Villena struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Rich Barth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yakusoku no Neverland. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Hill was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Bartolome Moracia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Hill having to interfere. Guillermo Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Felix Hill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillermo Paiva was the one to do the kick off. Bartolome Moracia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartolome Moracia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Hill having to make a save. Bartolome Moracia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Felix Hill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Guillermo Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Feliberto Caldeiro notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Caaguazu's Rich Barth. Rich Barth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Villena in the 75th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Rich Barth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Caldeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Yakusoku no Neverland's goalkeeper Felix Hill had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Paiva. Caaguazu's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
