Spectators: 10977 (Terracing: 8234, Seating: 2524, VIP seats: 219) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. OLIMPIA's Lartaun Ibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 3rd minute of play. Lartaun Ibar came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis. But to his dismay, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Edgar Kensicki was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. CERRO PORTEÑO's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 16 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lartaun Ibar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute of the match CERRO PORTEÑO got a corner. OLIMPIA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edgar Kensicki ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Abel Velasco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Cãlin Damaschin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xuoco Fermoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes, Rik Villavedon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OLIMPIA and the CERRO PORTEÑO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Lartaun Ibar made a huge save. Lartaun Ibar was a little too slow when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lartaun Ibar, 3-0. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Lartaun Ibar made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis got free with Lartaun Ibar in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute Benjamin Enao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cãlin Damaschin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CERRO PORTEÑO's Edgar Kensicki managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rik Villavedon in the 33 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis got a free kick in the 34th minute. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Rik Villavedon with Cordareo Bustillo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lartaun Ibar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lartaun Ibar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute, Abel Velasco made a precise shot to the right of Lartaun Ibar. OLIMPIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neymar Juniors in the 59th minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Cãlin Damaschin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lartaun Ibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind OLIMPIA's goalkeeper Lartaun Ibar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lartaun Ibar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lartaun Ibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lartaun Ibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 76th minute of the match. Lartaun Ibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 81st minute of play. When Edgar Kensicki came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the CERRO PORTEÑO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Kensicki couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the game, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Lartaun Ibar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. OLIMPIA's Saul Reñe was substituted for Benjamin Enao.
