Fergani Djamel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fergani Djamel in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chadli Zouba saved South Bend from getting behind. When Palos Heights's Daniel Zidane in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye South Bend's goalie prevented a goal. Chadli Zouba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zidane's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Palos Heights's Rabah Ziani got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, South Bend's Ahmed Zidane dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 38th match minute, South Bend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noureddine Chaib to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 41 minutes, Daniel Zidane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palos Heights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zidane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Mohamed Ben Ahmed Said managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palos Heights's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Ben Ahmed Said was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chadli Zouba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fergani Djamel to make the kick off. Palos Heights's Daniel Zidane got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to South Bend getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Noureddine Chaib hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mimoun Ouid Messaoud in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kassel Bouchemla saved Palos Heights from getting behind. Kassel Bouchemla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mimoun Ouid Messaoud in the 79th minute of play. South Bend's Chadli Zouba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save South Bend from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Fodil Djamel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fergani Djamel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zidane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fergani Djamel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chadli Zouba having to interfere. After a rather tough play, South Bend's Souad Guessoum got a free kick in the 94th minute. Palos Heights's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
