Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amine Bouteflika to make the kick off. Souad Benaouf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Larbi Fanon having to interfere. Amine Bouteflika scored 1-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Smail Zaoui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Smail Zaoui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Souad Sadaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes Cotuit AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mehdi Boulmerka. Souad Benaouf was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Souad Sadaoui in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Smail Zaoui saved Cotuit AFC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Souad Sadaoui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Smail Zaoui was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Souad Sadaoui made a precise shot to the right of Smail Zaoui. Cotuit AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
