Onawa FC's Salah Hemdani got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdelaziz Bahari got free with Fawzi Larbi in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amar Cherfa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khair ad-Din Oussar, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 31st minute Khair ad-Din Oussar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amar Cherfa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pacific AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Abd al-Asis Djebbour hit a great ball. Salah Hemdani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Amar Cherfa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Medjadi Madani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fawzi Larbi having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Onawa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bouabdellah Hanister to maneuver through the defense. Onawa FC's Fawzi Larbi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Medjadi Madani in the 43rd minute of play. Fawzi Larbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medjadi Madani in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdulhamid Souakri during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abdulhamid Souakri kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Medjadi Madani made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Medjadi Madani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fawzi Larbi was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Pacific AFC's Amar Cherfa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Pacific AFC from getting a goal against them. When Salah Hemdani came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Onawa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salah Hemdani couldn't finish the play.
