Cherif Abdelghani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yacine Chaib having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Temmam in the 19th minute of play forced Great Neck AFC's goalkeeper Tedj Saci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karim Temmam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Fateh Zidane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Neck AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fateh Zidane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th match minute, Great Neck AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdel Ahmed to maneuver through the defense. When Great Neck AFC's Cherif Abdelghani in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Troy FC's goalie prevented a goal. Fateh Zidane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Yacine Chaib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fateh Zidane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yacine Chaib having to interfere. Yacine Chaib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cherif Abdelghani, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Cherif Abdelghani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karim Temmam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Karim Temmam came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Troy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karim Temmam couldn't finish the play. After having played for 54 minutes, Karim Temmam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Troy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Temmam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Troy FC's Faouzi Ouadah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tedj Saci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 59th minute, Faouzi Ouadah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tedj Saci was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 63 minutes into the match, Troy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fateh Zidane came free, but Yacine Chaib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yacine Chaib was a little too slow when Fateh Zidane got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 2-1. Cherif Abdelghani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Yacine Chaib made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Troy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fateh Zidane came free, but Yacine Chaib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Faouzi Ouadah made a precise shot to the right of Tedj Saci. Great Neck AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Noureddine Zitouni kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Troy FC's Yazid Bouziane got a free kick in the 91st minute. Yacine Chaib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fateh Zidane, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When Frantz Asma fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Troy FC's protests and gave Frantz Asma a yellow card for diving instead. 99 minutes into the match, Great Neck AFC's Abdel Ahmed broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Troy FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Great Neck AFC for much of the match.
