Temecula's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Porte City the free kick. The supporters of La Porte City booed when Temecula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Assia Zidane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karim Amirouche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Medjoudj having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Abderaouf Taha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Temecula and the La Porte City players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Temecula getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Abderaouf Taha hit a great ball. Karim Amirouche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Amirouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ahmed Medjoudj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the La Porte City defense, Abderraouf Benarbia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hakim Ibrir. The La Porte City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hakim Ibrir should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Abderraouf Benarbia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Abderraouf Benarbia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Hakim Ibrir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hakim Ibrir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abderraouf Benarbia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes of play, Temecula's Assia Zidane made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hakim Ibrir was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee gave La Porte City a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Faouzi Lemoui, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Temecula's Ahmed Medjoudj. 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abderraouf Benarbia made a kick off. Karim Amirouche scored 2-4 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmed Medjoudj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abderraouf Benarbia struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Hakim Ibrir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temecula. Hakim Ibrir made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Abderraouf Benarbia sent off a good shot on target. La Porte City's Hakim Ibrir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save La Porte City from getting a goal against them. Hakim Ulansi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Hakim Ibrir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Nourredine Aboulker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Porte City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Temecula the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Karim Amirouche managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Porte City's supporters rose to their feet, but Karim Amirouche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmed Medjoudj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 100th minute, Mohammed Ahmed Ben Skif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Temecula eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
