In the 90thth minute of the game Rachid Zidane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Miami's Mohamed Sadmi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 95 minutes of play La Habra Heights's Abdelnasser Zarabi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, La Habra Heights's Abdelnasser Zarabi got a free kick in the 96th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Medjoudj got free with Ferhat Ibrir in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Habra Heights were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing North Miami to leave the ground with a draw.
