The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rachid Achiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Big Bear City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Achiu came free, but El Rahouli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Westville AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mimoun Ouid Khaldi hit a great ball. Rachid Achiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without El Rahouli having to interfere. Big Bear City AFC's El Rahouli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rachid Achiu in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Rachid Achiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. El Rahouli came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Westville AFC's Sid Lacen. But to his dismay, Sid Lacen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rachid Achiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. El Rahouli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sid Lacen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sid Lacen made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Big Bear City AFC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Edmond Zahouania hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Sid Lacen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westville AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sid Lacen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. El Rahouli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Houari Hamdani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lakhdar Fanon in the 60th minute of play. With his leg El Rahouli managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Westville AFC's Rachid Achiu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 62 played minutes Big Bear City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edmond Zahouania. The long shot by Rachid Madani in the 65th minute really tested El Rahouli's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. El Rahouli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Lacen in the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Westville AFC's Albert Haddadj got a free kick in the 71st minute. Rachid Achiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Lakhdar Fanon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Houari Hamdani was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lakhdar Fanon in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Houari Hamdani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Albert Haddadj fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Westville AFC's protests and gave Albert Haddadj a yellow card for diving instead. Albert Haddadj hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the game's 84th minute Big Bear City AFC's El Saïfi took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Houari Hamdani and thus the score was 1-2. 90 minutes into the game, Rachid Achiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. El Rahouli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Westville AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
