After a defensive mix-up in Indian Harbour Beach's zone, Rachid Mezdad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rachid Mezdad was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Indian Harbour Beach's Mohamed Abrika made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chih Hemdani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rachid Mezdad struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Jean-Michel Bruel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for St. Maries. Jean-Michel Bruel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rachid Mezdad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 63 minute of play. Said Semghoun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Michel Bruel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched St. Maries eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
